I had the distinct privilege of receiving a copy of Pete Wilson‘s new book PLAN B to review. It was provided to me by Thomas Nelson Publishers with no strings attached!
There are so many books that come out in any given year AND I tend to be a little skeptical! After all, is there really anything new under the sun these days?
In my humble opinion, you will not find anything new in Pete’s book – but you will find a refreshingly simple and honest approach to dealing with all of the pain and disappointment that will come at you in this life.
Pete draws on the Bible, trusted theologians and great thinkers to assimilate a very compelling look at the reality of a life that does not work out as we had imagined or anticipated. He gracefully points out the many lies that exist in our culture about the reality of “Plan B” situations – offering a message of hope and transformation to anyone. PLAN B is a great read for anyone who has ever thought, “Where is God? Doesn’t He care about me anymore?”
